Richard (Ricky) partners with upstream, downstream, midstream, engineering, and corporate business functions to define and implement industrial cybersecurity strategies, solutions, and processes. His primary focus is to ensure these solutions provide fit for risk, cost effective, and sustainable capabilities. Ricky’s prior role was the Enterprise IT/OT Architect which held key responsibilities such as developing a next generation architecture and technology strategy focused on driving competitive advantage for ExxonMobil’s operational business assets through the integration of new technologies into the industrial control system environment. Other roles within ExxonMobil focused on deploying new digital technologies (industrial wireless, IIoT, industrial mobile devices / applications) to the global fleet of refineries and chemical plants, developing high performance computing capabilities within the upstream, leading internal and joint venture audits focused on hydrocarbon measurement and industrial control systems, managing the support team for the global manufacturing application portfolio, and telecommunication infrastructure design.
