Mark has over 25 years of experience in the implementation of control systems in industrial environments in Alberta as well as projects in China, South Africa, and Cuba. As a member of the EPCOR Cybersecurity Governance Council, he is actively engaged with the implementation of cybersecurity in OT environments and in the transitions required for IT/OT convergence that are being driven by Industry 4.0 advanced automation requirements. He is an electrician by trade, a graduate in Instrumentation Technology and Electrical Engineering and is certified as an ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals and Risk Assessment specialist.
