Get Ready for Sustainability Reporting

Deep and innovative collaborations between utilities and other asset-intensive industries can play a major role in transforming sustainability challenges into new business opportunities, and will have to leverage detailed real-time data in support of full Scope 1, 2, and 3 reporting on the path to decarbonization. While electricity powers most industrial processes in developed countries, it will be increasing its share as a primary energy source in areas where coal, fossil fuels, and biomass are still the primary energy source. And since GHG emissions vary with time of day of electricity production, greater tracking capabilities will enable replacement of current average GHG emissions estimations and will play an important role in the Energy Transition across a range of new, greener product- and service- based marketing and business opportunities.
