The Supply Chain portion of ARC's 27th Annual Industry Forum will address topics on supply chain digital transformation, disruption, and sustainability. These topics can mean different things to different companies. The Supply Chain sessions will focus on what is encompassed in a robust digital supply chain transformation, disruption case stories and lessons learned, as well as discuss how you can succeed with your sustainability initiatives. The Supply Chain sessions are offered by practitioners addressing real-world problems associated with these topics.
Supply Chain Topics
Digital Transformation amid Disruption
Disruptions continue to be a problem for companies in every industry. However, the last two-plus years has seen more disruption as global economies and supply chains have become more digital in nature. The ongoing Covid pandemic, coupled with growing geopolitical tensions (trade wars, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, etc.), has created increasing uncertainty in the global economy. These disruptions impact every aspect of the global economy, from sourcing raw materials to delivering products to the end consumer.
As disruptions occur, resiliency and adaptability can mean the difference in success and failure which puts added strain on what continues to be limited resources (from the workforce to raw materials). How is this impacting investment and business processes across the organization, and how do companies envision their business in the future?
Sessions:
- Digital Transformation
- Digital Manufacturing
- Taking Augmented Reality to the Next Level with Industrial Metaverse
- The New Digital and Connected Asset Management
- Future Is Now: It's All About the Data and User Experience
- Game Changing Technologies: Accelerating Digital Transformation
- Supply Chain Disruption and Digital Transformation
Sustainability
Sustainability is increasingly important for the future of business and the world as a whole. Companies are investing more money into sustainability initiatives, seeking to reduce waste and carbon emissions. Companies are looking at various initiatives when it comes to sustainability, including energy efficiency, product packaging, alternative fuels, optimized routes, and returns management. More recently, we have seen a push towards building a circular economy to eliminate waste and build a continual use of resources. Companies are exploring how they can increase efficiency while also achieving sustainability initiatives. These sessions will look at the business processes and technologies that are building a more sustainable future.
Sessions:
- Sustainability, Resilience, and the Energy Transition
- Get Ready for Sustainability Reporting
- Decarbonizing Oil Production
- Decarbonizing Electric Power Generation
- Building the Industrial Metaverse on Open Digital Twins

The ARC forum has been a great opportunity to learn about new innovation in digitalization, connectivity, and solutioning. The conference provides a great level of insight to the real implementation stories, the lessons learned from initiative implementation, and the value delivered to organizations. The combination of research content, peer networking, and presentations provides a solid level of value that organizations can understand and subsequently investigate the potential value gained within their organizations.
