Yutaka Ishidate has long been engaged in import and export projects for telecommunications equipment, semiconductors, FPD manufacturing equipment, etc. In recent years, he has focused on ICT and factory IoT/IIOT initiatives based on diverse experience with domestic and overseas customers, users, and vendors. And now, in order to realize Digital Transformation (DX), he is exploring the necessity of DX for the manufacturing industry in general, especially for the chemical, pharma, enterprise, discrete industry, and the fusion of OT and IT based on the PI System, and implementing it because of the COVID-19 crisis. He advocates for “Competitive DX,” and the need for it to be realized.
