Valentin has worked in the field of developing new process technologies for over twelve years. He has been involved in the development of leading edge combustion, gasification, and optical analysis technologies in the design, numerical calculation, and on the experimental side. After a diploma in process engineering at the Technical University in Munich, he got a doctorate about radiation in combustion processes. During his studies he did research stays at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, in Stockholm, Sweden and at the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen. Valentin is author or co-author of 5 journal articles and several other technical publications and patents. He is project manager for the KRONES part of ROBOFILL 4.0 and responsible for the process technology.
