Steve has 36 years of industry experience in oil & gas, mining, and nuclear power. Prior to joining Element, Steve worked for 8 years at BP Upstream as VP Reliability and Maintenance, and VP Continuous Improvement and Transformation. Before his time at BP, Steve was the VP of Asset Management at Peabody Energy and VP of Technology at the Hess HOVENA refinery. He also spent 17 years with ExxonMobil in various site and corporate roles after starting his career in the US Navy serving as a nuclear submarine officer.
