Sten Tham

Sten is a Reliability Operations Area and Exception Based Surveillance (EBS) Lead for Hess, a global independent energy company engaged in the exploration and production of oil and gas.  Based in North Dakota, Tham is accountable for P/L, schedule, production, staff, reliability and EHS duties for an area producing ~35,000boepd via 360 wells.  He also provides leadership to ensure the development and maturation of Hess’ EBS program within the wider North Dakota asset.  With over 10 years industry experience, Tham joined Hess in 2009 and has held a number of roles within the company centered around production, reservoir performance, and operations.  Tham began his career with Schlumberger as a Reservoir Evaluation Wireline Engineer in 2006.
