Shizuka Ikawa joined Chiyoda Corporation in 1985, and after being in charge of design and construction of domestic plants as a control system engineer, engaged in plant construction projects in Asia and the Middle East. He has also served as a commissioning manager in the construction of one of the world's largest LNG plants in Qatar. In 2012, he became CEO of a group company in Qatar. He returned to Japan in 2016 and has been involved in the development of DX business since the establishment of the specialized department of AI & digital technology.
