After a brief stint as a Facility Engineer with an independent oil & gas company, Bob joined Shell in 1985 as a Control Systems Engineer. During his career, he held a variety of senior technical and leadership roles in the process automation, control and optimization discipline, as well as roles in operations, capital projects and technology management. Bob currently serves as a Principle Technical Expert in Shell’s Instrumentation, Control & Electrical (ICE) functional core team, where he focuses on functional improvement and technology strategy for the global ICE discipline.
