Ricardo has led successful automation, control, and MES projects industries such as mining, oil & gas, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment over the last 18 years. He possesses extensive experience in control system design, architecture, engineering, and commissioning. Ricardo is the co-founder and Managing Director of Scibotron, an award-winning industrial automation and systems integration company. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ricardo has served on various boards, including the South African Council for Automation and Control and the Pretoria Capital City Business Chambers. Ricardo holds a B.Sc in Information Technology, a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and an M.Eng in Engineering Management.
