Polyana studied electrical engineering (B.Sc.) at the University CEFET-MG in Brazil and Sensors Systems Technology (M.Sc.) at the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe. Since 2005 she has worked as a project engineer in the automation and process management department at Evonik in Marl. Her current main focus is on MTP and automation of modular plants.
