Peter has 30+ years’ experience in OT and IT. He currently drives the development of a global instrument asset management program to leverage smart instrumentation data into actionable information to enable condition-based maintenance. He started at Shell in 2006 to develop and roll out cybersecurity for process control. He used the Shell experiences to initiate the development of the IEC62443-2-4 cybersecurity standard. Peter investigated concepts for remote and autonomous operations and led research of machine learning and neural networks to investigate their feasibility for predictive maintenance at conventional process instrumentation and valves.
