Palaniappan is a Control & Automation professional with 35 years of experience. His work experience ranges from design, project management, consulting, commissioning, O&M and system integration. He is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Functional Safety and is well-versed in process safety risk analysis. He has published papers, presented in conferences, and developed software tools related to functional safety and security. He is a Senior Member of ISA and its SP84 and SP99 Standards Committee.
