Nobuyuki Arai joined JGC Corporation in 1984. He was assigned to the system control department and was in charge of dynamic simulation and control design work. In 1989, he was in charge of EPCS projects for LNG, oil refinery, and petrochemical plants at the instrumentation control department of the company. Since 2007 he has been an instrumentation control manager, instrument technology development manager, and principal engineer. He is engaged in wireless instrumentation, floating LNG, and LNG Air Lize technology development. He is a member of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers.
