Nidal joined Schneider Electric in Saudi Arabia in 2018 as Managing R&D Director, leading the Saudi Schneider Electric Innovation & Research Center (SSEIRC), based in Dhahran Techno Valley. SSEIRC’s vision is to leverage Schneider’s EcoStruxure platform to co-innovate customer centric advanced IIOT-enabled industrial process automation & control solutions that are focused on Saudi and the ME challenges. Key areas of focus at the center are next generation industrial automation and control systems, edge analytics, and industrial cybersecurity. Before joining Schneider, Nidal worked for General Electric for 13 years in different roles covering energy, oil & gas and global research in different countries starting with the United States, followed by Qatar then Saudi Arabia. Before GE, Nidal worked for Honeywell Turbocharging Systems (Currently GarrettMotion) in Los Angeles, CA for eight years.
