Nicole leads Mortenson’s Integrated Energy Solutions business which encompasses electrified transportation systems, behind- and front-of-the-meter distributed energy resources including microgrids and grid modernization. Mortenson’s energy and infrastructure capabilities continue to evolve with respect to the transmission and distribution of power to include energy storage, engineering services, microgrids and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Directly prior to Mortenson, Nicole was Director, Development at NextEra Energy Resources where she delivered $2.5 billion of capital investment in renewable energy generation and transmission facilities, leading market strategy, power purchase and interconnection agreements, project design, permitting and execution and financing. Prior to that, she managed a portfolio of investments in emerging energy technology.
