Nicholas joined the plant that is now Itafos Conda in 2011 as a Reliability Engineer.  He moved into a role as a Continuous Improvement Specialist in 2014 focusing on process improvement, profitability and waste elimination eventually becoming certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt.  At the end of 2016 he returned to his reliability roots as a Senior Reliability Engineer.  Today Nicholas oversees the development of Itafos Conda’s asset management program, from digitalization of operator care rounds, performing various reliability analysis tasks and developing and providing advice for improvements to existing plant infrastructure. Nicholas leverages his experience as a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and experience and training in Lean Manufacturing to continuously strive for excellence in plant maintenance and reliability.  Before joining Itafos, Nicholas held a position at an R&D company in the food industry, contributing as a co-inventor of two patents and as a Project Engineer designing, developing, and implementing critical projects for an elemental phosphorus manufacturing facility.
