Utilities Director
City of Hot Springs
Monty has served as the Utilities Director for the City of Hot Springs since December 2015. He has 32 years of experience with water and wastewater utilities, with 23 years’ experience at the management level. Monty is responsible for over $110,000,000 dollars of projects and an annual budget of $38,000,000. He began his career with his home town Utilities Malvern Water Works at age 18. Four years later he was the Water Treatment Plant Superintendent. In 1997 he was named General Manager of Malvern Water Works. In 2006 Monty joined the staff of the City of Bryant, one of the fastest growing cities in Arkansas as General Manager of the water and wastewater utilities. In 2012 he was named Public Works Director for the City of Bryant.
