Mike Dunevant

Mike is seasoned Professional Engineer focusing on nuclear power plant instrumentation and control systems.  He is currently leading the design of a reactor protection system for TerraPower’s Natrium Reactor, an advanced sodium-cooled fast reactor with integrated energy storage.  Before working with advanced reactor designs, Mike spent 20 years upgrading a wide array of nuclear protection and control systems at commercial nuclear power plants throughout the US.  He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and is an active member of IEEE, ANS, and ISA.
