Mette Marie is part of the Manufacturing Intelligence Team in Arla Foods’ Supply Chain Production Optimization. The team of eight specialists supports the 60 production sites to reduce material loss and improve product quality by the use of manufacturing intelligence tools. Mette Marie has a background in food science and multivariate data analysis and started her career within process analytical technology in Arla Foods in 2001 until 2009 leaving for a PhD position in Food Science at Aarhus University followed by a postdoc. In 2016 she resumed her industrial career as data scientist at Fertin Pharma. Mette Marie rejoined Arla Foods in the summer of 2020 to support the digitalization journey.
