After studying engineering at the Ecole Centrale Paris, Mathieu Cura held operational positions (R&D management, production management, operations management) in industrial companies and in the energy sector. In 2015, he founded Optimistik with Jean-François Hénon and Marouane Hassani, with the ambition of democratizing the use of data in factories. Today, Optimistik publishes an industrial data platform with integrated business applications, widely used in the process industries.
