Martin Van Der Merwe is an experienced registered engineer with a successful career spanning over 20 years in the automation industry. Throughout his career, Martin has held various positions of increasing responsibility within Emerson. He successfully managed the Australia and New Zealand service support organization. Subsequently, he transitioned to account management and business development, contributing to the growth and expansion of the company. During his tenure as the Director for Emerson's Systems and Software business unit in Australia and New Zealand, Martin and his team developed and implemented multiple clean energy and sustainability projects. Currently serving as the Sustainability and Decarbonisation Director for the Asia Pacific region, he is dedicated to assisting industry partners in achieving their sustainability objectives by implementing effective automation and software solutions.
