Luke leverages 15 years of project management and construction experience in the transportation industry in both the private and public sectors. He currently serves at the City of Austin Transportation Department (ATD) as a Capital Improvement Program Manager of Smart Mobility. He oversees, deploys, and supports ATD’s Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAVs) Program and innovative public-private partnerships. Luke expands on his knowledge with Intelligent Transportation System planning and design to improve and prioritize strategies that enhance the safety of the City’s transportation network. In addition, Luke supports the mitigation of congestion caused by construction activities and promotes safe work zone practices through Worker Presence; a subgroup supported by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
