Luis has over 30 years of experience in numerous areas of automation including process automation, control systems, process simulation, manufacturing execution systems and safety instrumented systems/critical control. He is currently responsible for ABB’s Safety System Product offering and is actively involved in the Open Process Automation Forum where he is co-chair of the Business Working Group. Luis earned BSEE and MBA degrees from the Universidad Simon Bolívar in Caracas Venezuela.
