Kiran reports directly to the Chief Information Officer. Motiva is owner of the largest North American refinery and distributor of oil and gas products. Based in the company’s Houston headquarters, Kiran leads the Digital, Data, Infrastructure and Cloud transformation efforts at Motiva. As a Senior IT leader for over 20 years, Kiran has achieved game-changing outcomes with significant impact on growth, competitive advantage, and profitability working with multiple global businesses to drive delivery of high-value enterprise solutions. Over the years Kiran’s technical expertise, business acumen, and ability to build and lead teams that delivered results has been instrumental in delivering transformational IT integration/separation for major M&A events, response to Hurricane Harvey, and the move to WFH during Covid-19. Kiran set the foundation for his IT career with over a decade on the application side of IT after earning a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Florida State University. Starting as a Software Engineer for a consulting firm, Kiran worked with F500 clients and Government agencies designing and building a variety of solutions in a wide variety of industry verticals. He then moved into Senior Leadership roles in other companies before starting at Motiva in 2021.
