Khalid is a leader in reliability management and has 14+ years’ experience in physical asset management on energy, oil and gas. Khalid graduated from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman with Bachelor Degree in Mechincal Engineering. He completed his MSc degree focused on oil & gas upstream reliability management from University of Liverpool, UK and is currently pursuing a PhD in reliability engineering. He is working currently as head of technical services at OQ upstream, Oman. He is responsible for asset integrity, reliability management and process safety on onshore and offshore gas and oil fields. He is an expert matter in asset reliability, Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), ASQ certified reliability engineer (CRE), and Certified Maintenance and reliability professional (CMRP).
