Karl has nearly 35 years of experience working in the process industries. He has been a TUV Functional Safety Engineer and was involved with software and digital solutions for over 15 years. He is also a member of the Institute of Measurement and Control. After spending a large part of his career supporting clients throughout various phases of the process and functional safety lifecycle and leading ABB’s Safety Lifecycle Management software solutions, Karl has now extended his portfolio to include the responsibility for ABB’s Energy Industries Asset Performance Management solution. He aims to support industry customers by enabling safe, smart and sustainable operations, by driving integrated solutions and leading-edge technologies and services that automate, digitalize, and optimize their facilities.
