Joji Tsurumoto received his Master’s degree in organic chemistry from Nagasaki University and started his career at Tanabe Seiyaku in 2006. He has various experience in the development of the manufacturing process, the manufacturing of drug substances for clinical trials, and in pharmaceutical regulatory applications for 13 years. He joined Takasago Chemical Corporation in 2019 and currently works as one of the managers of the iFactory project that is subsidized by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). He is in charge of developing the continuous manufacturing process and for formulating user requirement specifications of iFactory.
