João is an interoperability passionate whose current work is focused on contextualizing data for human and machine understanding. As an IT engineer, he worked for companies like National Oilwell Varco and Equinor. Besides working on commissioned projects, João was recently appointed Team Leader of the IACS (Industrial Automation and Control System) Gateway Competence Center at Equinor in order to align the convergence of technology between Operational Technology and Information Technology.
