Jim leads the Infrastructure and Smart Cities consulting team at ARC, with a focus on the nine vertical applications of a Smart City, and the seven critical technologies that impact them. Jim has over 30 years experience in this domain with a focus on intelligent transportation systems, smart grid, and smart city applications and technologies. Jim’s efforts include significant work in applying the systems engineering process (SEP) for envisioning and specifying projects for A&E clients. These projects have included international shipping ports, multimodal transportation and mobility centers, as well as the world’s longest floating bridge.
