Jan Erik has over 35 years of oil & gas upstream experience encompassing field operations, operations management with regional responsibility, software development, startup-operations, marketing, and consulting. His career has spanned the globe from Asia through Europe, South America, and now North America. His current focus is on blockchain, IT/OT integration, asset surveillance and integration of new skills into asset teams in the upstream oil & gas industry. He is also the lead of the domain group for the America. Jan Erik has contributed multiple blogs to industry publications as well as white papers and been panelist at multiple conferences including MIT and client customer events. He is an active member of Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Society of Exploration Geophysicists, and American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
