James invested into the business 4 years ago with a Private Equity Business, applying his experience of having grown a packaging business into a regional player in Africa, through acquisitions and greenfield investments in various markets. What attracted James to Energy Drive, both as a Leader and an Investor, was the specific focus on "energy optimization as a service", utilizing proven VSD technology in purpose designed and built systems, and deploying these into heavy industry. Client value is derived by delivering operational cost and carbon reductions by way of investment in new technology, without distracting clients' often stretched engineering resources and capex.
