Jackson is responsible for providing overall direction for UAS (Aviation Services) operations including supervision, scheduling, and oversight of Duke Energy Unmanned Systems personnel.  He is responsible for the coordination and integration of UAS with the aviation department leadership and for moving the organization’s compliance culture and programs forward.  Prior to joining Duke Energy he worked as a civil (structural) engineer in the nuclear power industry where he predominantly worked on large component replacements such as steam generators and reactor vessel heads.  He joined Duke Energy in 2014 as a project manager working on large scale construction projects associated with coal ash before joining the Aviation department in July, 2020.  He is a certificated private pilot and a commercial drone operator.
