Dr. Suzuki joined Toyo Engineering in 1973. He was in charge of petrochemical processes such as ethylene in the process design department, and then carried out process simulators and energy-saving revamping of petrochemical plants in the process technology department. In 1985, he was a researcher at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States. In 1986, he was in charge of process simulators, training simulators, APCs, plant modifications, etc., in the process technology department and the information system department. In 2003, Dr. Suzuki was in charge of training simulators and APC in the instrumentation design department. In 2008, he was technology manager of the engineering department and a part-time lecturer in chemical engineering process design. In 2015, he retired from Toyo Engineering. He is a member of SICE (The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers) and SICE instrument & control engineer.
