Drew served in the U.S. Army for 4 years including deployments to Iraq, for which he received the Purple Heart as well as multiple commendations. While attending helicopter flight school he studied for an engineering degree at the University of Memphis, which he has ultimately applied working in the oil and gas sector. Drew is passionate about utilizing LiDAR technology to identify new insights for the sector, such as improving the detection and monitoring of methane emissions, and has flown more than 10,000 drone inspections.
