Doug’s current role involves directing a diverse team of educational, safety, environmental, and operations personnel in the development and maintenance of the site wide developmental programs and competency assurance for staff. He is formally trained as an educator at the University of Alberta but also has experience in the oil and gas upstream, midstream, and downstream areas over the last 38 years. He has held varied roles over that time in a variety of operational, supervisory, as well as knowledge and competency positions.
