Digital Transformation of Industrial Procedures

Industrial procedures in their various forms have been in existence since the dawn of the second industrial revolution.  With the emergence of Industry 4.0, new digital solutions have become available which can enable a new paradigm between automation and manually executed operating procedures.  The speakers in this session will relate their experiences in exploring new technological options to written work instruction relative to existing process automation infrastructure.  The session will reflect on why operators fail to follow written operating instruction, how automation can eliminate human factors errors, and where Industry 4.0 solutions may enable cost effective alternatives to traditional automation solutions.

Following the presentations will be an interactive Q&A facilitated by ARC stimulated by results from a recent ARC Digital Transformation survey.
