Brandon’s responsibilities include Tampa’s Smart Cities program, micromobility, right of way permitting, street lighting, traffic operations, special event operations, traffic signal and ITS programs, and related capital projects. He has been with the City of Tampa for six years, and prior to that was a Traffic Operations Engineer with the Missouri Department of Transportation for 12 years. Brandon was recently elected as a Discipline Director on the Transportation Professional Certification Board and is the immediate past president of the Greater Tampa Section of ITE. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in two states as well as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. He earned his BS in Civil Engineering and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Missouri—Columbia.
