After having made several practical experiences in different breweries in Austria, Benedikt went to Freising, Bavaria in 2010 in order to study Brewing and Beverage Technology at the Technical University Munich, Life Science Center Weihenstephan.  Benedikt graduated from university in spring of 2016 and started his doctoral thesis at the Chair of food packaging technology later that year.  During his master thesis, Benedikt had the chance to deepen his knowledge in simulation of production and bottling plants as well as in IT issues in general.  The main focus during his doctoral thesis lies in the modelling and implementation of agent-based production planning and control in cyber-physical production systems.
