Apostolos currently the Program Leader for Data Analytics, Machine Learning, & Autonomous Operations for Process Control of ExxonMobil Research & Engineering. He has 30+ years of experience with ExxonMobil in technical, supervisory, and management positions covering several R&D programs, broad deployment strategies for the next generation of advanced control technologies, intellectual property management, and several relationship management with process control & optimization technology providers. Apostolos has extensive industrial experience in equation-based modeling, simulation, dynamic optimization, multivariable control, real time optimization, online data analytics, artificial intelligence, and process-data management of refineries and chemical plants. He has led numerous large-scale projects including closed loop optimization and control of an ethylene plant, catalytic cracking/alkylation complex, crude units, reformer, hydrocracker & aromatics complex.
