Andreas Faath

Andreas Faath, Managing Director, VDMA Machine Information Interoperability is responsible for the Interoperability activities affecting the mechanical and plant engineering industry and represents their interests globally. He is a board member of IDTA e.V., LNI 4.0 e.V. and the OPC Foundation. Andreas studied mechanical and plant engineering and was a scientist at the Technical University of Darmstadt with focus on Digitalization and IIOT. Afterwards he worked in research and development for process optimization and digitalization at General Motors.
