Alan is the Director of Digitalization at Siemens Energy and is located in Alpharetta, Georgia. He started working for Siemens in 2009 and has more than 30 years of experience in power generation with increasing responsibilities in program management, project management, process controls, power plant O&M, and product rollout strategies. In his most recent role as an Engineering Manager for Systems & Digitalization (2019-2022), Alan promoted and fostered a culture of independent thinking to encourage and motivate innovative ideas to delivering a customer's vision. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and an undergraduate degree in Engineering Management from the Michael W. Louis School of Management. He is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMI), Scrum Product Owner and a Scrum Master.
