Sharad leads Sanborn’s software development, IT, and 3D visualization teams. He is responsible for both the internal and external development and refinement of products, technologies, and solutions to specifically address Sanborn’s customers’ problem sets. He has more than 5 years of progressive expertise in the design of robotic mobile mapping systems, decision support systems, and the implementation of new technologies to improve end user productivity. Sharad has served as a scientist, lead researcher, and IT systems administrator in academia, government, and commercial operations. His research interests include applications of machine learning, robotics, and 3D modeling technologies to solve real-world challenges in the geospatial industry.
