Sandra oversees the Manufacturing Cybersecurity Program. In her 35 years at Dow, she has also been responsible for managing the Manufacturing & Engineering Information Technology Expertise Center, technical architects, knowledge management, and other large complex capital builds. She is a member of the MxD Cybersecurity Steering Committee, and a core member of the ChemITC Cyber Security Core Team. Sandra is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including the Winifred Burks-Houck Professional Leadership Award (inaugural recipient) from the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE), and the Promotion of Diversity in Chemistry, Related Sciences and Engineering Award presented by the American Chemical Society (ACS).
