Sander’s responsibility covers the product portfolio for industrial wireless LAN components, industrial routers, and the Siemens management platform for remote access as well as future technologies such as Industrial 5G and Wi-Fi 6. He has over 15 years of experience with industrial wireless communication. Sander started his career in Siemens Nederland N.V. in 2005. He worked as a Technical Consultant for industrial automation networks with a focus on Wireless LAN. In 2008 he moved to Germany and joined Siemens AG in Nuremberg where he became a Technical Consultant with focus on industrial wireless communication. After that he worked as Product Manager for SCALANCE W, the Industrial Wireless LAN portfolio from Siemens. From 2014 to 2018 Sander joined Siemens Canada Ltd. His responsibilities included marketing and product management for the RUGGEDCOM network components that are used in harsh industrial environments like electric power and transportation networks.
