Reinhard studied chemistry and inorganic chemistry at Leipzig University where he earned his PhD in organometallic chemistry. He worked for Dow Chemical in hydrocarbons production as an analytical specialist, work process specialist, and LIMS expert before taking over as leader for site analytical labs.
