Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Professor

Nilanjan is a Professor in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering department at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). He is also the Associate Director of Cybersecurity in Manufacturing at UMBC. His research interests span cybersecurity of cyber-physical systems, manufacturing systems, and education and workforce development. He is a National Science Foundation CAREER awardee and a Microsoft Research SEIF awardee. In collaboration with MxD and UMBC Training Centers, he is leading an effort on building a platform called CyMOT that will provide the tools for upskilling practitioners in the manufacturing industry with cybersecurity-related competencies.
