Masataka Masutani joined JSR Corporation in 1998 and had experience in process development, plant design, and on the manufacturing staff. Since 2011, he had been in charge of factory management as a production engineering team leader and then as a production engineering manager, and since 2016 he has been involved in smart manufacturing that incorporates drones and AI into chemical plants. He transferred to ENEOS Materials Corporation due to the split transfer of JSR Elastomer Business in April 2022, and serves as Division Director of the Production Technology Division of the company.
