Joe has 25 years of experience with General Mills and has worked in two manufacturing facilities prior to moving to Minneapolis where he has had positions at both the World Headquarters and the James Ford Bell Technical Research Center. He started in manufacturing where he held positions including operations team leader, maintenance team leader, project engineer, and logistics planner. While in manufacturing he led efforts to provide real time information to operators on the plant floor to enable them to make more informed decisions. After 7 years in manufacturing Joe moved to World Headquarters and held several positions in information technology, operations technology and several business units. In his current role, Joe is focused on how to leverage smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 in the digitization of the supply chain.
